Damn if that red doesn't stick out beautifully. It's just gorgeous. Don't think it would have had the same effect if it wasn't with all the other blue and yellow backgrounds. I think all of your female figures are spot on, one of the male faces (#9 and I apologize if I always name the pieces by a number, it's usually the easiest way for me to label them) is a bit rough. The last few and the first couple pieces you have are some of the best looking women I've seen drawn in awhile. I think you have such spot on understanding of female anatomy, especially of the facial region. Haha I'd hate to take a still life nude drawing class with you, you'd put the entire class to shame.Joking of course, I'd love to take a class from you, there's so much you could teach me and others.
Thank you! Male faces are rougher but usually it's supposedly so like in this series. I admit #9 is a bit rougher than it should but I had difficulties in getting the piece work so there's a lot of re-touching (physical on the drawing itself, not with computer) and re-drawing on the face. I actually made another version of the drawing, but I thought the expression didn't turn out well so I returned to the first one to do that re-working on it.And yes, I love drawing women :)Yea, it would be fun to teach at some art class. Many of my methods aren't exactly by the text book but that would only make it more fun and I'd love to pass some of what I have learned by experiencing to others!
