Oh boy, don't think I haven't been watching your updates, I've been watching quite closely and I've like what I've seen. Your last couple of updates have been really impressive. I've been busy with some client work so I haven't had much time to update my own work, but I'm finishing up as we speak so it will be back to the norm.Anywho, some really great work tighting up the lighitng and detail, everytime I see your work I always see improvement which is a great thing, a lot of artist just get stuck and never seem to go anywhere, but you improve and move forward with your style. Haha I'm planning on doing some work inspired by you, you've really got pumped.
Thank you! I was already wondering where you have vanished, not only because of absence of comments here but your art blog has been on stasis for over two months! As a great movie poster artist Drew Struzan has said, "artist is never ready, he/she is always improving". That has kind of been my guideline. And I believe one can't force the process. It comes naturally. Every piece teaches you something new, and you absorb it to your natural arsenal.
I can't imagine words that ring with more truth than that. Unforuntatly every now and again we may find ourselves in a stump where we can't get ourselves out, but in the end we always manage to make it back to our paper.
