Imaginary Movie: Memories

A return to the 'imaginary movie' I drew as a homage to late Daul Kim (see 27th December '09 entry for more information). Here we see the story's heroine in the same motel we saw her lingering in. But did these scenes happen before or after? Only time will tell...

Amazing. So much justice To Daul Kim done in your art :)
Especially the third one, has an extremely too-real likeness to Daul Kim.

you leave many questions, though you tend to set the locations and sort of describe the scenes.. but i really wanna know whether you have a strict image of what this imaginary movie is goin to be about? what genre? what ending? main plot or something.. i really like your idea and drawings - they are beautiful

Thanks for your comment! And to answer your questions, most of them I can't answer myself yet. I'd like the drawings carry the story so each person can have their own perception of it. In my first 'imaginary movie' entry I described it as sort of Wong Kar-Wai style of a movie so there's no sctrict script either for my own story. I draw on instict and inspiration, like he shoots his movies. Only then I arrange the drawings to give it some form and I may fill the gaps by drawings new pictures in between if needed. Like my new 'Shantytown Blues' here, it's drawn in a completely different order than it is/will be published.
The imaginary movie with Daul is far from complete though. There will be new entries. As for the ending, like I said in one entry, I don't want it to have an ending as such - it feels too sad when I think of Daul.
